First, they finished putting up the roof.
Next they put up the west wall, and the section of the north wall.
Then they framed out the front of the barn, including the door into the workshop and the two windows. (Note Maddy - over by the door - inspecting their handywork.)
And finally put the R-panel on the front of the barn. I'm mostly happy with the way this looks, but I think it will look even better when the driveway is finished, the extra roadbase is removed, and there's some landscape put in.We started framing out the interior walls this weekend too, but that's for another post. :)

ReplyDeleteI always believe roofing is a difficult job, but reading this post makes me think twice. I first read your barn construction blog posted on March 12, 2012, where it is already done half of its side, and in just a week the whole roof had been completed. Wow! You definitely have good team to work on this. How's your barn now, by the way?
