They don't look that fancy, do they?
- Handmade heart-bar shoes in size Brego
- Fronts only
- With clips
For size comparison, that's my thumb.
Just how much did they cost? Here are a few clues:
- The most expensive shoes I'd ever had before were a full set, with clips and tapped for studs. Brego's were nearly three times as much.
- My college apartment was cheaper than these shoes.
- You probably pay less for board than these shoes cost.
- I could have bought a new pair of (not custom) tall boots.
- A set of 4 new trailer tires is less than these shoes.
- I could have bought a plane ticket to Europe (in the off season).
So, with armed that knowledge, leave your guesses in the comments! Whoever gets closest gets to send me a donation toward the cost of Brego's fancy footware.
Just kidding. Mostly.
$600.
ReplyDeleteo.O
this was going to be exactly my guess
Deleteso price is right style ill go 601 :P
DeleteHmmm, have you two played this game before? ;)
DeleteTHANKFULLY, NO. Haha. I'm just a good guesser. ;)
DeleteHoly crap -- I don't even want to guess!
ReplyDeleteAlmost 2 years ago I was dealing with a mystery lameness with one of my mares -- her custom shoes with pads cost about $200. My poor husband (who up to that point had only been around my otherwise barefoot horses) absolutely lost it....haha.
The things we do for our horses.....
$200... I wish!
DeleteOooooh, I love guessing games. I'm going to go with $475... and then try not to hyperventilate.
ReplyDeleteThat would have been a nice number...
DeleteI am going to go with 650. Holy money. And damn his feet are big.
ReplyDeleteYes, the large feet that don't fit any off-the-shelf shoe don't help in this equation.
DeleteI will take $700.. & dang, I'd be breathing into a paper bag too (at anything over $200)!!
ReplyDeleteFortunately for my wallet you're high!
DeleteI'm going to just double my board cost and say $850
ReplyDeleteI don't even know how you have a board bill that's ONLY $425!!!
DeleteI'm going with $500.
ReplyDeleteClose, but think higher...
DeleteHoly smokes the size of his feet & I'm way too afraid to think of the cost 😫
ReplyDeleteIgnorance is definitely bliss!
Delete$550 and I bought a lottery ticket in your name. :)
ReplyDeleteI hope that's a winning ticket for you!
Delete$750
ReplyDeleteFortunately for my wallet, your guess is high.
Delete$725.00. Ouch!
ReplyDeleteFortunately they weren't *quite* this much!
Delete$500 omg.
ReplyDeleteHigher still!
DeleteMy guess is $450.
ReplyDelete$450 seems so reasonable...
DeleteAre you hiding gold on the underside of those things?!
ReplyDeleteFor the price those things should have been SOLID gold!
DeleteFingers crossed those shoes can be reset MANY time!
ReplyDeleteYeah, for like the entire time he's growing out his foot! I wish!
DeleteI'm going $625, since everyone else has my guess. ;)
ReplyDeleteFrom California, an off season flight Europe is still around $850 so I can't us that clue. I am going with $700 which is absolute thievery. I hope I am too high, but sounds as though that price is close. I certainly hope those shoes can be used ALL YEAR LONG!!!!! ðŸ˜
ReplyDelete$550 (since I'e already seen your responses!) and how often do you need new ones? Can they be reset at least once?
ReplyDeleteAlso, those shoes are HUGE.
DeleteI'm hoping they can be reused for the rest of his life, lol!
Delete$616
ReplyDeleteYou're really close!
Delete$625 for the pair and I hope they last a long time!
ReplyDeleteHigher than my board, but (much) lower than one month of childcare for my baby. Add the toddler's fee and there aren't enough paper bags to keep me from passing out. Seriously, I wish they took children at my barn.
Oh man, childcare is sooooo $$$$$. It's unbelievable.
DeleteMy guess is $615 ;) and HOLY HELL. The most I paid for shoes was $180 and I was freaking out about that
ReplyDeleteI'm going to go with 15 regular sized trims.
ReplyDeleteYIKES! *hugs*
