It's hot here - usually around 105 in the shade when I get home at 5:30 p.m. Elias goes out for a short while, then comes in and finds a cool spot. I'm always amused when he pants and his tongue falls out and sort of sticks to the floor.
Maddy's toe is mostly healed and she's gone back outside to catching mice. However, she did try out Elias's bed while she was in - I think she prefers napping on the people bed though!In other news, Taran's home and doing great, last weekend's riding was very nice (Saga's like a new horse), and we have a dressage lesson today! First time since we moved to Wyvern Oaks, so it's sure to be a humbling experience.
