Mid-week critter

Artemis has discovered how to get up into the rafters in the barn. I think she's jumping up on the hay bales and then launching to the rafters.

Hellooooo down there!

Just a blur of motion...

Naturally she wanted help down, which I declined to give. She eventually figured it out though.

Do your cats get into odd places?

  1. My cat is a house kitty only, so all she does is lay around on the sofa or on "her" bed in the spare bedroom...

Artemis makes me nervous all the way up there, though!

  2. Oh man, I bet she is the smuggest cat in all of Texas about figuring out how to get in those rafters!

  3. I think you need to set up a kittycam...

  4. in2paints, the beams are only about 10 feet up, and the floor is sand, so probably she'd land OK. But I do wonder what's so fun up there!

Funder, she was much MORE smug after she figured out how to get down. Silly kitty!

And Meidhbhe, I have often wondered what things I would discover the girls were doing if I had a camera attached to a kitty collar. On second thought... maybe I don't want to know!

  5. Ruby likes to get up as high as she can. The funniest though is that Moose just likes to sleep on stuff. Shoes. Bags. Whatever. Right now she's sleeping on the paper packaging that my new compost pail came in.
